Vivian Nguyen (she/hers)
Vivian is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health with a concentration in Health Education and Promotion. Vivian’s journey into mental health research and advocacy began after being introduced to self-growth podcasts and reading self-help books. These resources helped her understand the importance of mental health and its impact on overall well-being. However, it was hearing about the personal journeys of her peers and loved ones navigating mental health that truly inspired her career interests. She believes that access to quality mental health care should be a basic human right and is determined to play a role in making that a reality. As she continues her studies, Vivian aims to prioritize the health of the community as one of her main goals. She is committed to using her knowledge and skills to make a positive impact on society and to help create a world where mental health is taken seriously and treated with the same importance as physical health.
