
Trini Tran
Trini Tran is a Community Mental Health Worker Apprentice (CMHW?A) currently completing her apprenticeship at MFPI, where she’s gaining hands-on experience in community-based mental health care. She is passionate about helping individuals and communities by offering inclusive, personalized care that fosters healing, emotional strength, and overall well-being. Trini earned her degree from the University of California, Riverside, where she discovered her passion for mental health through psychology courses that resonated with her. Since then, she has worked in real estate, law, and social services—each experience enriching her holistic understanding of the diverse factors shaping a person’s mental health journey. Across all these roles, Trini consistently brings an intentional, empathetic, and people-centered approach.
In her current role, Trini values active listening, cultural humility, and client trust. She believes mental health care should be accessible, inclusive, and compassion?driven, with a special focus on trauma-informed care and community-based support for recovery. Driven by a desire to help others feel seen, heard, and empowered, she places strong emphasis on continuous learning and professional growth. Trini views each interaction—with clients, colleagues, and mentors—as an opportunity to deepen her understanding of mental health practices and broaden her impact. Her long-term goal is to build a career firmly rooted in service, equity, and human connection.
Outside of work, Trini loves exploring new places, uncovering local gems like coffee shops and parks, and having meaningful conversations with friends and family. She brings curiosity, care, and authenticity into every aspect of her life.
